Happy 80th Birthday Eddie Cochran!
Today back in 1938 in Albert Lea, Minnesota a legend was born... That legend was the one and only - Eddie Cochran.
Starting his career by playing Country music until his passion for Rock ‘n’ Roll gave in. Eddie Cochran then dove headlong into his new sound releasing his first Rock ‘n’ Roll track in 1956 - ‘Skinny Jim’.
His success then continued and in 1958 he released, what is arguable, two of his most well-known songs ‘Summertime Blues’ and ‘C’mon Everybody’.
Today he would have been 80 years old and no doubt still giving us that Rock ‘n’ Roll sound he was well known for.
His songs were as iconic then as they are today, still being played on the Rock ‘n’ Roll scene up and down the county.
